Join us Saturday October 2, 2021 as we pay tribute to 50 years of music from the legendary Elton John.  In honor of his golden anniversary, Rob Skeet and the four piece band, Husky Tower, will take you on a three-hour musical journey.  Sing, dance and celebrate.

She has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy today including Russell Peters, Ari Shaffir, Doug Stanhope & Hannibal Buress.

Banger Bingo is the ultimate rock anthem comedy gameshow unlike anything you have ever seen.

Join us for a high energy game of bingo as Banger Bingo take you on a rock’n’roll journey of sing-alongs, laughs and fist pumping on Friday October 15th at 7:30pm.

About Redline trio:Redline Trio brings to life the attitude of a bygone era with a modern perspective.

Since 2016, Redline Trio has been featured weekly at Betty Lou’s Library, an award-winning speakeasy in downtown Calgary. They have presented concerts at the National Music Centre (King Eddy), cSPACE, artsPlace (Canmore) , and the Ironwood stage and grill, as well as various venues across western Canada. They have featured various renowned guest artists, including Juno-winners Brandi Disterheft, Brad Turner and David Braid, New York pianist Steve Hudson, poets Shari-D Wilson and Quincy Troupe, as well as vocalists Allison Lynch and Kate Melvina.

In May 2019, with assistance from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Redline Trio recorded their debut cd at the Banff Centre for the Arts featuring guest NY pianist Steve Hudson, garnering two 2020 YYC Music Awards nominations; Best jazz recording and Group of the year. Redline Trio has been featured in the JazzYYC All-Canadian Jazz Festival, Theatre 1308 Bright Side Festival, as well as Jube Island at the Jubilee Auditorium.

About the Drummer: Jeff Sulima has taken his musicianship across the ocean, holding down residencies in Europe and Asia. A consummate accompanist, Jeff can deftly shape the turn of a phrase with his nuanced percussive palate, and just as easily light the room on fire with his thundering mallets and driving kick drum.

About the Bassist: Stephen Shepard loves to explore musically. His compelling sound draws in listeners and fellow musicians alike, while his creativity on and off the bandstand gives Redline Trio a foundation of epic yet elastic proportions.

About the Saxophonist: Mark DeJong has performed around the globe and those experiences inform his reverence for tradition while balancing the adventurousness of a trailblazer. His saxophone wails, roars and cajoles listeners to dive deep.

Rock N’ Roll Burlesque Show

Join us Saturday October 30, 2021, at Pure Casino Calgary for a cheeky Halloween show featuring The Punch Drunk Cabaret with The House of Hush Burlesque Troupe.  The show lands on Halloween weekend so let’s have a little fun and dress to impress in your best 1920’s flapper-esque outfits and steampunk inspired wear.

About Punch Drunk Cabaret: Punch Drunk Cabaret is a multi award-winning, festival favourite that combines an inventive blend of rockabilly, steampunk swing, and alternative-rock resulting in a high energy live show of rousing, sing-a-long choruses and dance floor packing rhythms that never fails to make the audience part of the show.
